I have been a massage therapist and bodyworker with people in the Boston area for 27 years. Ten years ago, I spontaneously applied my human massage skills to a Golden Retriever I knew named Charlie and it changed my life! I saw the profound effect that massage had on him and decided to go through a canine massage certification program and became a certified massage practitioner for animals.

I am dedicated to serving the health and well being of animals through professional caring touch and instruction. My training background includes Small Animal Massage, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, energy healing techniques, animal communication, and canine acupressure. I am a graduate of the Integrated Touch Therapy program, the Massage Institute of New England, and attuned to Mariel healing energy and other forms of energy healing. Currently, I am studying animal communication with Tera Thomas, a well known communicator with 20 years of experience in the field. My massage customers have included people, dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and the occasional donkey.

I have a deep love and respect for the earth, for nature and for animals. Aside from providing massage, I am foremost a natural intuitive who works with touch as a way to connect with animals to receive impressions and to feel their communication with us.

My practice has evolved from providing massage sessions to one of a teaching practice, sharing my love of teaching touch to humans so that they can connect with and support the well being of their animal companions, as well as helping humans to better listen to their animals and understand their language. My practice includes massage instructional sessions, healing touch sessions, and massage presentations.

My work has been featured in The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Boston Magazine, The Phoenix, The Improper Bostonian, The South End News, The Beacon Hill/Back Bay Chronicle, The Barking Beacon, Boston Metro, Animal Fair, and in The Sunday Boston Globe, as well as on television on Fox 25 News, Chronicle, NECN (New England Cable News), SpeakOut TV, and BNN-TV. My massage work with dogs at Purina's Beneful Smart Spa for Dogs has also been featured on WBUR's Here and Now Program.

I am also the founder and owner of Golden Hands Massage Therapy, my human massage practice. For more information on Golden Hands' services, click below:
